Hello friends. Toady, I share with you a poem I penned on the life’s Journey a few days ago. Hope you like it.
Barely life had started,
In mother’s lap and small cradle,
I grew into a toddler,
With a tricycle to paddle.
Then came days of joy,
Grandparents’ love and playing with toy,
Loving neighbours, kids next door,
Wishing for those times to last more.
Those were days of carefree bliss,
Learning, enjoying without a miss,
No worries clouding youthful days,
Just simple joys and carefree ways.
Little did I know then,
I’d enter life’s challenging den,
A roller coaster ride of highs and lows,
Where both anguish and pride impose.
Sometimes falling, rising again,
An earnest quest to win life’s games,
At times with ego, at times selfless,
Both righteous and sometimes senseless.
Having lived through all of this,
My inner self now guides with bliss,
All was but a fleeting span,
Infinite timeline set by the cosmic plan.
The real goals lie far ahead,
That journey has scarcely been tread,
Do I regret or feel dismayed?
No, I’m groomed, ready, unafraid.
