Shifting Bonds
Time’s still in abundance,
But Priorities have rearranged,
Relationships now fragmented,
Needs, they too have changed.
Swallowed whole, all connections seem,
In a whirl of rivalry and clash,
Urban life’s stark desolation,
Social media’s binding thrash.
Gone are the days of sprawling kin,
Now veiled behind a screen’s disguise,
Who’ll heed the aunts’, uncles’ din,
For synthetic laughter, everyone vies.
Why bother with those familial calls,
When Goa’s sunny holiday charms,
Stress mounts as relationships stall,
Yet, likes surge with shared photo arms.
All forget, this virtual sphere,
An illusive trap for all to see,
Until its lesson becomes clear,
Regrets come when birds peck the lea.
Hindi Version:
बदलते रिश्ते
समय की कमी नहीं, पर रिश्तों में नमी है,
प्राथमिकाएँ बदल गईं हैं, ज़रूरतें बदल चुकी हैं।
आपसी प्रतिस्पर्धा और होड़, सोशल मीडिया से जोड़,
बेरुखी भरा शहरी जीवन, जहाँ दिखावा ज्यादा और प्यार कम।
विस्तृत परिवार का बीत गया दौर,
अब ध्यान अनजानों के लाइक्स की और।
कौन सुने बुआ, चाची, मौसी के उलहाने,
अब सब को चाहिए बनावटी खुशी के बहाने।
बुआ, चाची, मौसी के घर क्यों जाना,
जब हॉलिडे पैकेज लगे गोवा का सुहाना।
तनाव क्योंकर बढ़ाएं अब रिश्ते निभा कर,
जब स्माइल्स मिलें सेल्फी और फोटो दिखा कर।
मुसीबत में पड़ों के भी बस वीडियो ही बनते हैं,
सरोकार नहीं इससे, कि वो जीते हैं या मरते हैं।
अब इंसान से नहीं जूठी शान से है नाता,
सोशल मीडिया के इलावा कुछ नजर नहीं आता।
भूल जाते हैं सब वर्चुअल वर्ल्ड तो है माया,
जिसने अब सब को ऐसे जाल में फंसाया।
जब तक इसका इल्म होगा, हो जाएगी देर,
तब मत पछताना, जब चिड़िया चुगेगी खेत।
