In the tapestry of our societal fabric, the corridors of justice weave a complex narrative. Today, let’s embark on a poetic journey inspired by the reminiscence of a grandma’s tale—a seemingly simple fable that unfurls profound reflections on our modern-day legal intricacies.
As two cats once grappled over a roti and sought the intervention of a monkey, we find parallels in human endeavours. In a world where cleverness sometimes outpaces its bounds, the echoes of disputes and arguments resonate through the corridors of law.
This poetic rendition navigates the realm of justice, where laws are crafted with fervent attitude, and legal battles unfold in courtrooms and legislative arenas. Yet, as we delve into this labyrinth, questions emerge: Does justice truly find its way to the ordinary citizen? What complexities lie within the elaboration of laws? Are we bound by a system that demands a bowed head?
Join me in this poetic exploration where notaries and functionaries play their part, entangling many in a web of legal intricacies. Even for those with means, the road to justice remains daunting, a journey often marked by years of waiting.
In a world where legislators and lawyers engage in a chess match, where expertise in trapping, delaying, and distracting prevails, we find ourselves questioning the essence of justice. Is justice delayed truly justice denied, or does hope for justice keep us tethered to the legal landscape?
As we delve into the verses that follow, ponder upon a democratic vow—the promise of justice for all. Consider an alternative thought, where justice is not a labyrinth navigated by the clever and shrewd but an accessible and fair refuge for every citizen.
Let the verses unfold, guiding us through the twists and chases of a legal saga, and may this poetic contemplation spark reflections on the very foundations of justice in our democracy.
English Version:
Today I remember a grandma’s tale,
How two cats fighting over a roti failed.
Stupidly they took their fight to a monkey,
and how he ate the entire roti as his fee.
But why should tale of cats inspire the humans?
For they possess the monkey like acumen.
When cleverness exceeded its due,
It led to disputes, arguments anew.
Humans crafted laws, a multitude,
Invoking justice, a fervent attitude.
Successful lawyers in court did strive,
Those who failed, tried the legislator’s hive.
Highly sophisticated is the court’s trail,
Its elaboration of law seems highly detailed.
But do the ordinary citizens find justice,
Head bowed to the system, let’s ponder on this.
Notaries and functionaries within or outside,
At every step expense, showing their legal might.
In this labyrinth, whoever gets tangled,
Waits years for justice tired and wrangled.
Even those with affluence dread to afford,
For the commons it’s daunting unending road.
Yet If as a compulsion, courage they amass,
Years in tension, strangled by the impasse.
Legislators and lawyers in chess align,
With lawyers outwitting legislators every time.
Lawyer’s Expertise in trapping, delaying, and distraction,
Provides law swayers maximum satisfaction.
Though Justice delayed is justice denied,
But hope of justice keeps everyone tied.
As opponent and proponent are put to test,
Enjoying their follies, the lawyers fill their chest.
For ever increase the list of prolonged cases,
The verdict arrives with twists and chases.
Until the conclusion of the appeals arrive,
The plaintiff and defendants might just die.
Should Justice to all be the solemn vow,
How its delivery to law abiding be so slow.
Escaping the tricks of shrewd and clever,
Let justice be affordable and quick for ever.
